Abstract

This research was based on the appearance and modeling cases of 655 large cruise ships which range from the birth of cruise ships to now and 171 ships were selected as samples. First, a research on holistic image perception of the obfuscated cruise ship appearance by using fuzzy cluster analysis method is carry out. According to statistical calculations, its style can be divided into three historical stages and eight styles. Then its evolutionary context and preliminarily inferring trends. The influencing factors of the appearance style of the cruise ship can be identified by the characteristics of each style by observation method.
