Abstract
The succesful fabrication using holographic lithography of a submicron grating reducing the demagnetizing field of a perpendicular ferromagnetic thin film is reported. An increase in the extraordinary Hall effect by a factor 3 is measured. The presence of holes in the film lowers the coercive field and causes a stepwise switching.
