Abstract

The initial and modified carbon sorbent modified with biologically active polymer - polyvinylpyrrolidone was obtained. Their physical and chemical properties are investigated. The influence of the process of modifying a molded carbon sorbent on its physicochemical properties is shown. The adsorption properties of molded carbon sorbents with respect to marker substances of various nature (organic dyes) under model conditions are studied. The regularities of the effect of the porous structure and the functional composition of the surface of molded carbon sorbents on the adsorption of methylene blue and methanil yellow dyes are established. The initial and modified carbon sorbent modified with biologically active polymer - polyvinylpyrrolidone was obtained.
