Abstract
Five bands of 15N14N18O nitrous oxide isotopologue were detected in the 4200–6500 cm−1 region with a Bruker IFS-125M Fourier transform spectrometer using a sample composed of NO (80% of 15N18O and 20% of 14N16O) and a trace amount of N2O isotopologues. The line positions of these bands were measured to the uncertainties of 0.001 cm−1. The spectroscopic constants were fitted using the measured line positions. The root mean squares of the residuals (RMS) of the fits (0.0005 cm−1 0.0027 cm−1) were close to the experimental uncertainties. Four bands, , and , were observed for the first time. The line positions of the 2 ν 3 band were determined with a smaller uncertainty than in (A. W. Mantz, K. Narahari Rao, L.H. Jones, R.M. Potter. J. Mol. Spectrosc. 30, 513 (1969)).
