Abstract
In the current Global scenario, many substances have been made which are non-biodegradable and toxic in nature. Adding to it its non-cost effectiveness and environmental hazards, a suitable substitute has to be provided. Due to its abundance in nature, various structural features and its obvious advantage of being bio-degradable, natural monomers present themselves as excellent candidates for the synthesis and production of high performance bio-polymers. To produce these quality polymers, various chemical modifications and processes such as condensation reactions are performed on them. Manu Bio-degradable polymers have been produced from diols and di-carboxylic acids such as Polyesters and Poly(ester amide)s. In this study an effort is made to produce a bio-polymer using a natural monomer and mechanically test the resulting polymer to check its properties. Then a natural fiber is added with the help of binding agents such as resins to make the final product Bio-polymer composite.
