Abstract

Our paper describes the magnetic and structural properties of MnFe2O4, which is currently widely used and is considered to be one of the promising materials. Although these charac-teristics of the material we are studying have been reviewed before us, we would like to know the accuracy of these characteristics for our future purposes. From the MID-IR study, we concluded that the absorption coefficient (α) reaches its maximum value at a wavelength of 748 cm-1. The optical properties of our nanoparticle were experimentally investigated in a VERTEX 70V Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (DRS) device. The magnetic properties were investigated by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy and the pres-ence of unpaired electrons was detected, as well as the g-factor (2282) and the line width between the peaks (∆HPP = 1287 G).
