Abstract

Transport systems based on superconducting magnetic levitation often risk derailment by backward tilting of the shuttle away from the bank angle. To alleviate this problem, this study investigates alternative rail magnet arrangements that can offer better stability of levitation transport systems by inducing a forward bank angle tilt. The results can be used to enhance the safety of various transport applications that rely on magnetic levitation technology.
