Abstract

Objective To explore the correlation factors of depression, anxiety disorder and comorbidity of anxiety and depression (CAD), to elucidate the influence of psychosocial factor upon CAD, depression and anxiety disorder, and to find the actively valid nursing measures, which carry out the earlier period mental intervention to the patients and improve the patients'mental symptoms, raise the patlents'existence quality. Methods 57 patients were interviewed in semi - structured manner with LES, SSRS, FES - CV, EPQ, DSQ, and some of these indexes of patients were compared with norms or those of normal control group. Results (1) The negative life scores of three groups were higher than those of normal control group;there were no significant differences in negative llfe event among three groups. (2) The social support scores of three groups were sigaificantly higher than those of normal control group;the social support score of CAD group was higher than that of depression group, but was no significantly different with anxiety group. (3) CAD group had family function deficits, but was less severe than that in depression group and anxiety group. (4) The N factor scores (EPQ) of three groups were significantly higher than those of norm;but there was no statistical significances among three groups in each factor of EPQ scores. (5) The immature defence mechanisms score and intermediate type defence mechanisms score of depression group, anxiety group and CAD group were significantly higher than norm. Compared with CAD group, anxiety group and norm, depression group had significantly lower scores for mature defence mechanisms. Conclusions CAD, ' pure' major depression and ' pure' anxiety disorder have lots of likeness, but each one has its own clinical characteristics and manifestations.
