Abstract

In the present talk, in order to illustrate general tendencies in studies of nuclear structure far from stability, several representative examples of recent experiments performed with intermediate energy beams are presented. The perspectives of new experiments in physics of exotic nuclei opened by high intensity radioactive nuclear beams combined with new 4π detection systems are shortly discussed.
