Abstract

A significant part of boiling heat transfer enhancement methods is surface modification and the creation of structures, both regular and irregular multiscale. In this paper, beam technologies for surface modification are presented. Using these technologies, samples are obtained for experimental studies. Experimental data on heat transfer and critical heat flux during R-113 pool boiling on structured surfaces are presented. The possibility of increasing the critical heat flux by up to 25% and significantly expanding the temperature range of the surfaces in heat transfer equipment is shown.
