Abstract

The micro-powder of /spl beta/-SiC was synthesized from gangue. The influences of temperature, particle size and content of /spl beta/-SiC on the non-linear electrical conductivity were studied. The effect of anti-corona property of mixture of /spl beta/-SiC and /spl alpha/-SiC together with lacquer was discussed. Authors of this paper consider that the /spl beta/-SiC made from gangue could be used to replace /spl alpha/-SiC as anti-corona material.
