Abstract

The present research is affidavit in evaluating four commercial national varieties (Dashehari, Langra, Mallika, and Amrapali) and three local mango cultivars (Chhattisgarh Raj, Chhattisgarh Gaurav, and Chhattisgarh Nandiraj) are used as a check. Therefore, some high-yielding good quality commercial national mango cultivars are in compression with local cultivar research are feature points are investigated to physio-chemical characters. Studying the physio-chemical characteristics of local varieties is more important in features of applying and breeding program to quality improvement in helpfully. There were recorded in local varieties, Chhattisgarh Gaurav has highest TSS (0B) 23.333 and lowest Chhattisgarh Raj 16.66 that are higher than national varieties. Acidity (%) Chhattisgarh Gaurav in maximum0.530 and minimum in Amrapali 0.180. Ascorbic acid (mg/100g) is recorded as higher among all varieties Dashehari 45.000 and lowest in Lamgra 28.667. Total sugar (%) in Chhattisgarh Gaurav was maximum 17.333 minimum in Chhattisgarh Nandiraj, Mallika was 12.667. Reducing sugar (%) is higher among other varieties in Chhattisgarh Nandiraj 6.233 and lowest are varieties 6.233 and minimum content are recorded in Langra 4.183. Non-reducing sugar (%) was highest in Chhattisgarh Gaurav 12.013 and lowest among the varieties Chhattisgarh Nandiraj 6.745.
