Abstract

In the present work we report the study of magnetic susceptibility and lattice parameter measurements of CeNiInH x system with x= 0.0, 0.5, 0.6, 0.67, 0.75, 1.0 and 1.6. It has been revealed that the occurence of paired arrangement of proton in the host material is associated with the electronic phase change of CeNiIn system accompanied with a drastic change in the lattice parameters.
