Abstract

The projected shell model calculations are carried out for proton rich 105-111Te isotopes. The calculations are found to reproduce the energies of the band heads and the quasiparticle configurations on which yrast bands in these isotopes are built. The projected shell model has been able to reproduce successfully the formation of yrast spectra for 105-111Te isotopes. The calculated low spin positive parity band spectra and corresponding dipole transition energies between two angular momentum states have been compared with the available experimental data and reasonably a good agreement is obtained.
