Abstract

This article presents a case for examining the talent development process through the lens of an integrated curriculum model. The author describes a rationale for such a model, features that it would contain, and specific applications of it that have been made in two federally funded curriculum projects. The relationship of the model of ICM to curriculum reform variables are delineated along with implementation considerations that focus on the nature of the learner, and various aspects of the learning context.
