Abstract

Objective To study effect of interactive health education mode on treatment compliance,outpatient follow-up rate,lung function and quality of life of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients in stable stage.Methods 77 patients with COPD in stable stage were recruited from outpatient department and inpatient in the second people's hospital of Chengdu.According to the patients voluntarily participate in the health education,they were divided into the health education group (38 examples) and the non-health education group (39 examples).Follow-up of 6 months later,compared between the two groups of patient's treatment compliances,outpatient follow-up number of times,lung function and quality of life.Results 77 patients accomplish half year follow-up.Compared with non-health education group,the treatment compliance,the outpatient follow-upnumber of times and the quality of life were improved significantly in health education group (P<0.05).About lung function targets (FEV1%predicted values and FEV1/EVC),there is no significant difference between the two groups.Conclusions To enhance the patient's treatment compliances,increase the number of outpatient follow-up times and improve the quality of life,the interactive type health education mode has the important meaning.
