Abstract
Estimates are obtained for Green's difference function and for Green's function of the first differential approximation of Lax's scheme for a wave system. Using them we find an estimate for the increase of the solution in the norms of L and estimates, correct in respect of order, for Green's difference function and Green's function of the first differential approximation in the norms of L P .
