Abstract

Static press molding method on graded gravel are not basically matched with the actual vibration rolling graded gravel base, the test results in the physical and mechanical properties of the graded gravel are unrevealed essentially. By comparison with the strengths of indoor test specimens and site construction core specimens, verify the correlation between vibration test method and the site actual effect is stronger. Based on the conclusions above, research the physical and mechanical properties changing laws of graded gravel and their influencing factors on the basis of variation method. Study results indicates that in condition of the specimen compaction degree is 97~99%, it is increased by 1% will lead graded gravel's compressive strength in average increased by 19% and rebound modulus in average increased by 16%; And compared with the optimal water content, the specimens' internal water content when drying to half of the optimal, the compressive strength, rebound modulus and the CBR are respectively in average increased by 28%, 13% and 10%; the specimens' internal water content when drying to 0%, the compressive strength, rebound modulus and the CBR are respectively in average increased by 95%, 25% and 14%. Therefore, the research achievements can be referenced in design and construction of graded gravel.
