Abstract
Kinetics behavior of geminate ion recombination in solute-solvent system such as biphenyl-cyclohexane system, was studied by using a picosecond pulse radiolysis. Experimental data of the geminate ion recombination agreed with theoretical time-behavior obtained by a new treatment which extends the Smoluchowski equation to the system in the presence of the solute.
