Abstract
Use of Auger spectroscopy for studying segregation phenomena at grain boundaries of crystalline solids is described briefly, Results of preliminary experiments with a commercial Es-ca-Auger spectrometer, equipped with a fracture stage to produce fresh intercrystalline metal surfaces, are presented.
