Abstract

It is shown that the formation of the mechanical properties of the alloy is hierarchical, that is, the atomic structure determines the potential of mechanical properties, which changes during the formation of each structural level superimposed on each other (nanostructure, substructure, micro- and macrostructure). The results of experimental data processing on the study of the chemical composition, mechanical properties, micro- and nanostructure of castings made of high-strength aluminum alloys based on Al—Zn—Mg—Cu and Al—Zn—Mg—Fe—Ni systems are presented.
