Abstract

The results of experimental studies of the kinematic and energy-power parameters of stamping hammers with a falling parts mass of 10 and 13 tons carried out in the production conditions of "Stupino Metallurgical Company" JSC are presented. An experimental studies methodology is developed to determine the kinematic parameters and the actual total impact energy during hot upsetting of 12 control samples on stamping hammers with a falling parts mass of 10 and 13 tons. Processing of the experimental results allows to determine the speed of the falling parts upon impact on the workpiece and the actual total impact energy of the stamping hammers model M102 with a falling parts mass of 10 tons and model M109 with a falling parts mass of 13 tons.
