Abstract

The goal of the article is the presentation of main principles and directions for the study of sustainability of agricultural production systems in the framework of the project starting in 2017 – the SURE-Farm in the Horizon 2020 program. The study shall aid the identification of risks facing the EU agricultural sector, as well as should help develop complex solutions strengthening the sector’s resilience against the pressure of negative factors in its environment. The SURE-Farm project is expected to offer sets of tools for risk evaluation and management, and its results are planned to find practical application in the process of toolkit creation for agricultural policy.
