Abstract
Electron tunneling between asymmetric double quantum wells has been investigated by using time-resolved photoluminescence and time-integrated photoluminescence spectroscopy. The resonance between the ground levels has been observed and clear experimental evidences of longitudinal-optical-phonon-assisted tunneling have been obtained by enhancing excitation power densities or applying electric fields perpendicular to the well plane.
