Abstract

A pellet (BULK) of cadmium Selenide (CdSe) has been prepared by using compression technique with pelletizer. Cadmium Selenide (CdSe) pellets was used for the investigation of dielectric properties as a function of frequency in range from 20Hz to 2 MHz using precision LCR meter. A preliminary investigation like dielectric constant (ε′), dielectric loss (ε″) and extensive quantities, i.e. conductivity (σ′), electric modulus (M) has been calculated. All these properties are used to explore various processes contributed in the dielectric spectroscopy.
