Abstract

The safe and reliable acquisition of data measured by the underlying equipment and real-time control of the equipment in the Space Environment Simulation and Research Infrastructure. In this paper, we take the helium monitoring subsystem in the Space Environment Simulation and Research Infrastructure as an example and study a data acquisition strategy for the underlying equipment. Firstly, the requirements of the helium monitoring subsystem were analyzed and the data required for the helium monitoring subsystem were determined. Secondly, the equipment composition of the helium monitoring subsystem was determined and the hardware structure of the PLC-based helium monitoring subsystem was designed based on the requirements. After that, a master-slave network architecture was built based on Modbus RTU technology, and the software structure was designed and the communication methods between the master and slave stations were determined. Finally, a master station polling slave software prog ram was written to realize the data acquisition and control of the helium detection equipment in the PLC-based helium monitoring subsystem.
