Abstract
Superconductor is material which has ability to perform zero resistivity in certain temperature. There are some phenomena in superconductor that still cannot be describe well. One of the phenomena is the effect of impurities to the physical properties of superconductor. In this research, the partially substitution of magnetic impurity Fe for Cu in electron-doped superconducting cuprates of Eu2-x+0.01Ce x-0.01Cu0.99Fe0.01O4+α-δ in over doped regime x = 0.16 and 0.20 with 1% of Fe content was prepared by solid state method in order to investigate the structure and magnetic properties of ECCFO. The results of the characterization on crystal structure using XRD show that the material has a tetragonal T’ crystal structure which is indicated by the appearance of two main peaks with miller index (103) and (110). Magnetic-susceptibility measurements were carried out at low temperatures from 10 to 30 K. The values of curie constant, magnetic moment per unit volume and effective magnetic moment decreased with increasing of Cerium concentrations.
