Abstract
Cognitive fatigue may be induced by prolonged periods of continuous and repeated activity. The subsequent drop in alertness levels may be detected and analyzed by the use of physiological signals such as Electroencephalogram(EEG), ocular features, speech etc. The present paper employs entropy of EEG signals as a marker of cognitive fatigue and validates the results through performance of subjects in a set of standard neuropsychological tests. Correspondence observed in the trends may be considered indicative of gradual increase in fatigue levels with increase in cognitive loading.
