Abstract

The article has been investigated the correlation between adjacent antenna elements by using difference arrangements in mm-Wave MIMO antenna systems. The proposed two-element MIMO antenna has been operated for a dual-band frequency, which are 28 GHz and 38 GHz. The investigation can be achieved by four studied cases of the two- element antenna. This study found that CASE II obtained the lowest correlation (ECC < 0.001 dB), which has a low mutual coupling (35.07 dB and 28.56 dB) over the entire operating frequency (28 GHz and 38 GHz), respectively. Due to the arrangement of each element placed in perpendicular to each other that can be generated the radiation as orthogonal polarization. A two-port MIMO antenna has a compact size of 22×10×0.787 mm3 and has a quasi-omnidirectional that suitable for millimeter-wave (mm-Wave) in wireless communication systems.
