Abstract

Background and Aim: Benign biliary strictures (BBSs) may arise from chronic inflammatory pancreaticobiliary pathologies, postoperative bile-duct injury, or at biliary anastomosis following liver transplantation. Endoscopic therapies, like stricture dilatation and stenting, are effective in most cases and the first-line treatment of BBS. We aim to study the different etiologies, clinical manifestations, response to treatment and their clinical progression over 1 year
