Abstract
1. Employing14C-labeled carbon monoxide we studied the hydropolymerization of ethylene, which proceeds at a temperature below 100‡ in the presence of 0.01%14CO. It was shown that the reaction products contain from 1 · 10−3 to 1 · 10/s-5% of carbon from the CO. 2. Oxygen-containing compounds are not formed in the ethylene hydropolymerization process.
