Study of Applied Economics Research Methods under Open Economic Environment

Abstract

Application of economics to help China's economic development, its research methods also change scientific development China has a great role, but an open economic environment on applied economics put forward new demands, new economic changes require new research methods. In this paper, a new method of system changes in China's economy in an open environment analysis and applied economics change, designed to give a new direction for China's new situation of applied economics research methods. Throughout history of scientific development, including social sciences, including scientific research a real sense, in verification or construct theory, while always should consciously promote use of research methods and disciplines of scientific method itself progress. Since 1980s, social science and that alone is pacing Fangbu will be able to win lopsided era, this is a significant scientific progress, inevitable law of development of science return, highlights reform and opening up great progress brings great practice of social science research. With expansion of economic reform and opening up to promote China's economic and management science fields it is profound, extensive and complex academic change occurred. In this sense, it has developed with natural sciences have been same thing. In historical process of scientific research development, research method is defined as the main method used by a discipline, rules and basic principles (Ethridge, R., 1995). Choose a specific scientific research method problems is organic combination of multi-level methodology. In general, philosophical methodology to build foundation of all methodology, methodology theoretical economics, applied economics and specialized areas constitute an organic structure in field of applied economics discipline problems specific research methodology system. Any scientific progress not only a subject area are inevitably bring improved research methods, major scientific progress and may even promote revolutionary change scientific methodology; and basic content of any discipline by theories and methods of composition, both indispensable . Specification and selection process is an important part of scientific research methods and program design, and has important scientific significance. Scientific research in process of self-exploration is a strong awareness of scientific issues driven by aim of knowledge creation and innovation specific scientific disciplines, scientific observation from perspective of historical development and knowledge creation is a process of accumulation. With changes and open economy and society, more than 30 years of change and transformation of academic scientific research methods, it has been practice of China constitute an important academic economists and management scholars. However, based on how specific and different contexts, proper use of research methods dividend shift change, and promote sustained progress of economic research, it is a different subject areas equally important emerging scientific issues must be tackled but significant problem. The key change is that scientific method of scientific research methods to select and specific diversity of applicable methods set reasonable premise.
