Abstract

In order to deal with the application problems of anti-slide pile, a new structure type of anti-slide pile called Anti-slide Pile System Composed of Arch and Truss Structure is put forward. By applying the FEM software MIDAS/CIVIL, one landslide treatment engineering example was designed to compare the top displacement with the two other kinds of conventional piles, single-row anti-slide pile, and double-row anti-slide pile in a straight line under the same forces. The results demonstrated that the displacement of this new kind of pile on the top is much smaller than the two other kinds of conventional piles. The distribution of the deformation is also more rational and controlled easily. After examined by ANSYS, Anti-slide Pile System Composed of Arch and Truss Structure is feasible, and the global stiffness of the anti-slide pile is increased significantly so that the top displacement of the pile is decreased significantly. Therefore, this new kind of pile has a wide application in landslide treatment engineering.
