Abstract

Obese subjects often have hypertension and related cardiovascular and renal diseases. In obese subjects impaired renal-pressure natriuresis causes sodium retention, leading to the development of salt sensitive hypertension. Obesity is due to fluid retention and high fat in cells, so fat cells will active any factors to stimulate the secretion of aldosterone, and there will be salt sensitivity to blood pressure only. But it is not necessarily linked to cardiovascular and renal disease. The oxidative stress which rises with the presence of heart and kidney diseases associated with high blood pressure, so there will be increase in oxidative stress because people do not suffer from chronic diseases and obesity is considered fluid retention and fat accumulation in the body.
