Abstract
Peptides are amazing diverse and multi-faceted class of compounds constructed from relatively simple building blocks, the amino acids. The ultrasonic velocity (U), density (ρ) and viscosity ( η ) measurements have been carried out for peptide with fixed concentration of the sulfadrug in non - aqueous solution of ternary mixture at 308.15 K. Internal pressure and free volume are thermodynamic parameters computed in the present study. Experimental data have been used to estimate the internal pressure ( π i and free volume (Vf).The results are discussed in terms of structure making/breaking effects of drug in non-aqueous solution. The Insilco studies indicate the binding positions of the peptide and sulfa drug to active sites on three different types of proteins.
