Abstract

The effect of medium-delivery cleaned gas velocity, Reynolds criterion for average efficiency of cement and aluminum oxide dust capture, on the hydraulic resistance and hydraulic resistance coefficient of a direct-flow cyclone with intermediate dust collection with a large twist of flow and slow gas flow rates are studied. An estimate is obtained for the dust catching efficiency of a test cyclone by a probability-energy method that is in good agreement with experimental data. It is established that fraction efficiency indices of the test cyclone are better than for counterflow cyclone TsN-24.
