Abstract
A study analyzing data from over 80,000 U.S. doctoral graduates in science, technology, engineering, and medicine reveals that scientists with disabilities earn approximately $14,000 less annually than scientists without disabilities (https://bit.ly/3SrLlxE). The study, led by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Disability Health Research Center, used data from the 2019 Survey of Doctorate Recipients. The study analyzed information from individuals who obtained research doctorates between 1973 and 2017.
