Abstract

A population‐based study based in Hong Kong has found that long‐acting injectable (LAI) antipsychotics were associated with lower risk of hospitalization than oral antipsychotics in patients with schizophrenia. There was no significant difference between LAI and oral antipsychotics in the frequency of emergency department visits.
