Abstract

To asses environmental feasibility of Beize coal separating plant and predict it’s influence to ambient, according to government laws, codes and regulations such as 《The Specific Guides to Environmental Impact Assessment》 and technical features of the project, the range, grade, standards, factors and prediction models of influence evaluation were determined. Then predictions and evaluations of ambient air, surface water environment, acoustic environment, solid wastes and environmental risk were undertaken. The results showed that air pollutants was 2.38t/a of smoke dust and 2.60t/a of SO2 and the coal dust discharging concentration was less than 120 mg/m3. There would be 6.0 mg/L and 16.2 mg/L increment on COD and SS respectively in the local river on the occasion of accidental discharge. Noises was 50 dB(A) or less along plant boundary. So the pollutants discharge of this project can meet relative discharge standards on the conditions of carrying out various pollution precaution measures and guaranteeing normal production. Therefore, this project is feasible from the point of view of environment.
