Abstract

A novel three-phase bridgeless boost power factor correction (PFC) circuit is studied and designed. First, the operating principle of the three-phase bridgeless boost PFC is analysed. Then, the simulation model of the three-phase bridgeless boost PFC based on the average current control is given. Finally, the simulations are conducted to demonstrate the validity and feasibility of the theoretical analysis. The simulation results show that the proposed system could realise high input power factor, low input current harmonic and low output voltage ripple, and the experimental results show it is effective and feasible in three-phase circle.
