Abstract
Abstract The genus Mesothrips is redefined on the basis of revisionary studies involving 31 species for which a detailed key is provided. The species Mesothrips bianchli, elaeocarpi, fulmeki, mcmecylonicus, momdi, orientalis, and vitis are described as new.
