Studies on Triazine Dye-Enzyme Interaction by Means of Affinity Partitioning

Abstract

Reactive dyes have found widespread interest as biomimetic ligands in numerous subjects of enzymology and protein chemistry, taking advantage of the principle of biorecognition. The use of Cibacron Blue F3G-A and other triazine dyes as ligands in affinity chromatography and in related techniques has been successfully demonstrated in diverse isolation procedures of enzymes and proteins.
