Abstract
The Raman and infrared spectra have been measured of a range of transition-metal complexes involving bidentate or bridging peroxide groups, and also of those containing the hydroperoxide ligand or hydrogen peroxide of crystallisation. Assignments of fundamental modes are suggested; the results can be used to distinguish between the various types of peroxide complex.
