Abstract
Copolyarylates obtained from bisphenol-A and its diallyl derivative formed with isophthaloyl chloride via interfacial polycondensation were investigated. Mechanical test results were used to monitor the process of photocrosslinking. Investigations revealed that the photocrosslinking efficiency of a new monoazide photoinitiator was greater than that of a bisazide. Photoinitiator mixtures were found to improve photocrosslinking relative to solutions containing a single photoinitiator.
