Abstract

The viscosity of the alkali salts of humic acids has been measured at different dilutions, both in aqueous and salt solutions. From the abnormal viscosity ( η sp C )- concentration relationship obtained for these systems, it is concluded that they can be considered as polyelectrolytes.
