Abstract

In the present study, DNA-CTMA nano metal oxide powder CuO, Al2O3, and TiO2 doped films are fabricated using solution casting technique and tested for mechanical properties. The test revealed that the DNA-CTMA film doped with nanopowder showed higher tensile strength and Young’s modulus and thermal stability than the bare film .The film topography is studied under Atomic force microscopy which determined the surface morphology. The studies showed that the nanodoped polymer films possess favourable properties over base polymer films such as tensile strength, and conductivity. These enhanced properties make these films as promising materials for solar cell applications.
