Abstract
Wax deposition studies, supplemented by gas chromatography data, were carried out to investigate the modification of wax crystals when Geleki crude oil was doped with ester-type chemical additives. Properties such as pour depression data, inhibitor efficiency, melting point of the deposit and average carbon number data were studied to extend understanding of wax crystal modification.
