Abstract

Normal dogs immunized with ragweed antigen produce a nonprecipitating antiragweed antiserum. The nonprecipitating antibody in the induced canine antiragweed was demonstrated by binding of I131-labeled ragweed, by inhibition of precipitating antigen-antibody reactions, and autoradiographic immunoelectrophoresis. This antiserum inhibits the reactions of dogs passively sensitized with canine reagin to challenge with ragweed antigen.
