Abstract
We studied the relationship of the structural fibers and its papers with a several synthetic or semisynthetic fibers (i.e. Nylon, Vinylon, Polyester, Polyacryl, Rayon). The results are followed;1. The fiber strength in the synthetic fiber papers is not so re-appearant to hand-sheets as a general presumption.2. We founded that the properties of the structural fibers are important whether they are able to, make paper with a good formation than effects on the strength of their fibers.3. For example, Vinylon, Nylon and Rayon fibers have better suitabilities to paper-making than Polyacryl and Polyester fibres. Accordingly, the former shows more stronger than the latter.4. However, the stiffness factor of the synthetic papers was proportional to the Young's modulus of the structural fiber in spite of qualities of the sheet formation.
