Abstract

In this report, the effects of stress relief by means of annealing applied to welded joints of stainless clad steel were analyzed, and changes in the welding stress during the lapse of time were studied. As a result, it was found that annealing is effective in the stress relief of mild steel but is of little effect with respect to stainless clad steel. These results were also confirmed experimentally.
